I always forget about this place, but I figured it was nigh time I came back and made my presence felt. I think its funny that a) my account wasn't deleted after all this time. and b) I keep getting comments. and c) people are still to this day confused about "Eh Jus".
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away I was a dj & a&r for Dmusic.com when it was owned by Spyed. This site hadn't even been born yet and the world was concerned about something called the "y2k bug". It was an interesting and pioneering time to be alive.
Spyed was a genius little kid back then, and I was a much younger more disrespectful version of myself. He was starting this deviantart project and I contributed some lousy photo manipulations and skins, that likely have been long deleted due to clearance issues (I had a thing for morphing the hair color of hollywood stars and placing them in front of cars and stuff).
I took a long break from digital art and music, spent time building Electric guitars (I still do that, but I have learned its not something I can totally make a living at, to price the stuff compeditively I have to make crap not art). A while ago I got the idea to make a videogame as a 1 man band. I started work on it last spring and off and on have been plugging away at the darn thing working to get it finished. All code, art, animation, sound, and music by me.
Its going well I will likely share some screenshots on here, as I am starting to be more ready to let the cat out of the bag (no pun intended). I did so a little bit last night as I reconnected with a very old friend. Mr. Angelo aka Spyed actually found a few minutes to talk online with me last night. It was incredible to catch up with an old friend. It was also nice to see that no hard feelings were to be had over some of our more Epic Arguments and yelling matches on the phone. In those early days we pushed each other's buttons rather well. I will say there were very few I had more respect for than Angelo back then an incredible youth.. Now an amazing Visionary business man.
I could never have predicted in those early beta test days this is what would become of Deviantart.com and I am very proud to have at least had some input and time here in the beta working towards those early goals. It blows my mind just how massive a place this is now.. Hats off to all you deviants.
